Abstract :
After proposing a novel local state-space model for two-dimensional digital filters, an impulse response and a difference equation are derived from the model. Next, a method for embedding it in the Roesser model is presented. It is then clarified that the model being proposed in this paper corresponds to a transposed filter structure of the Fornasini-Marchesini second model. This suggests how to embed the Fornasini-Marchesini second model in the Roesser model
