Though sampled-data H∞ control has been investigated by several researchers theoretically, there is few application of the design methods in particular applications. Thus, their effectiveness in practice is not clear. In this short paper, we apply the sampled-data H∞ control for a pneumatic cylinder system and examine its effectiveness experimentally
