Abstract :
Simple analytic solutions are presented for track covariance matrices for exoatmospheric (disturbance-free) tracking with measurement errors proportional to a power of range. Also discussed is the use of segmented trajectories for cases in which the range power and other tracking parameters are piecewise constant
