Abstract :
This paper considers H2 and H controller order reductions with the consideration of both stability and performance. A new H2 controller order reduction technique is first proposed with guaranteed stability and performance bounds. We then apply the frequency weighted balanced truncation and relative model reduction methods to the performance weighted coprime factor H controller reduction problem and derive a priori performance bounds
