Abstract :
In the practical work of geology, the geological information is complex and uncertain, so we urgently need to study and develop the system of geological information visualization. The paper designed and implemented the interactive visualization system of geological information based on the modeling of triangle faces. In the system we use DEM model to express the terrain surface data, use the combination of triangle faces to express the irregular object underground, use perspective 3D landscape method and 2Dsection method to display the geological information. It proved that it provides strong supporting for researchers to find the law behind the geological information.
