  • Abstract
    A simplyfied model of the electrode position control system applied to the electric arc furnaces of 150 TM/year is introduced. A 7th order non-linear model was obtained. Validation model was done with operation data. A comparison with an identificated model is done. Recursive Maximum Likelihood Identification method is employed using data operation. The model selected was the identificated one which corresponds to a system order na=7 and input order nb=1.
