Abstract :
This paper presents the performance analysis of power system dynamic stability using Fuzzy logic based PSS for positive and negative value of K5 constant. Here the two inputs are change in angular speed and rate of change of angular speed whereas output of fuzzy logic controller is a voltage signal. Then the performance of the single machine infinite bus system has been studied without excitation system, with excitation system only, with conventional PSS (lead-lag), and with fuzzy logic based PSS. The simulation results give satisfactory output.
