Abstract :
An overview of forward error-correction (FEC) coding for spread spectrum is given. The relations between FEC and spreading in spread spectrum are discussed. Some coding schemes such as convolutional coding, trellis coding and turbo coding for spread spectrum are compared. Finally, conclusions and future research topics are presented
