Abstract :
Nonlinear geometric techniques (partial feedback linearization) and singular perturbation methods are used to design high-gain feedback stabilizing controls for single input nonlinear control systems. It is shown that a special partial feedback linearization allows us to reduce the problem into the stabilization of a lower dimensional system. An explicit formula for the high-gain stabilizing control is given.
