  • Abstract
    This paper proposes an engineering method for estimating the bearing value of the centrifuge concrete filled thin-walled steel tubular under torsion. The calculation method is developed on the basis of the strength theories, and the formulas of the elastic torsional stress of the member are adopted. The calculation results show generally favorable agreement with the experimental data, offering the theoretical basis for the simplified formulas for the practical engineering applications.
