Abstract
Two new peripheral chips, the TMS32050 and TMS2051, for interfacing analog signals to microprocessors are described. The TMS32050 is a comprehensive one chip programmable data aquisition system for audio band digital signal processing applications. The reproduction of audio band signals after digital processing can be performed completely by the single chip programmable TMS32051. Both chips have data memory, serial ports, and a status register inorder to form an intelligent and simple interface with microprocessors.
