Abstract :
The problems of optimal vibroisolation of elastic systems which are described by a higher-order set of ordinary differential equations are considered. The mathematical models presented in the paper can be applied to a wide class of actual elastic objects, in particular, to buildings and structures under seismic or wind loads. The problems of limiting isolation capability and the problems of synthesis of optimal isolator characteristics are investigated
