Abstract :
With the rapid growth of the Internet and the widespread access to the digital data, the content creators often encounter problems like illegal copy and distribution of their content. This paper addresses the problem for multimedia data. An efficient video encryption technique is proposed to protect illegal distribution of video content stored in H.264 format. This paper presents a fast video encryption algorithm that performs real-time encryption of the video in H.264 format on a commercially available DSP platform. This algorithm is applied in a real-time place-shifting solution on DSP platform.
