Abstract :
A convexity property of a certain matrix Riccati function allows the computation of families of gain matrices for H∞ -norm-bounding state-feedback and observer-based controllers. All controllers belong to a well-defined subclass of state-feedback or full-order observer-based controllers, and hence exclude controllers of higher order. The parametrization of state-feedback gains also allows the computation of a family of H∞-norm-bounding decentralized control laws
