Abstract
With the advent of more powerful workstations it has become feasible to incorporate more sophisticated propagation algorithms into large-scale realistic-geometry computer heart models, and still be able to simulate several cardiac cycles. This opens up the possibility of simulating the more common arrhythmias. One such algorithm was described by Leon and Horacek (J. Electrocardiol., vol. 24, p. 1-41, 1991). Here, the authors describe preliminary results with the implementation of this algorithm in a realistic-geometry heart model
