Abstract :
A state space representation of a special structure is presented for linear time-invariant systems. This condensed form is used for a study of the disturbance decoupling problem by measurement feedback: A characterization of solvability in terms of the condensed form is derived, a numerically stable algorithm for the computation of the condensed form is described, and a reliable and efficient algorithm for the computation of controllers is proposed.
