  • Abstract
    We propose a new pixel structure to improve the transmittance at the pixel boundaries. By forming additional electrodes at the pixel boundaries, LCs at the pixel boundaries can be aligned to 45° against the transmission axes (TA) of the polarizers for high transmittance.
