Abstract :
Measuring the unipolar intracardiac impedance proved to be a reliable method for recording changes in the myocardial inotropic state. Observing the sympathetic drive offers a wide range of clinical applications. The Autonomous Nervous System (ANS) controlled closed loop pacing system is the first realized and extensively clinically validated utilization of this sensor principle
