Abstract :
This paper presents a case study wherein 498 school Computer Literacy teachers spread all over the State of Goa, were trained over a 2 year period by Goa University, using a blended approach, under the Post Graduate Diploma in Computers and Educational Technology (PGDCET) project. The paper gives a brief description of the approaches used in designing and implementing the course. In particular, it presents our findings on the benefits of using a Learning Management System to provide support for self-paced learning.
