Personal Information eWallet

This paper introduces an eWallet designed as a tool for personal management of private information, thus giving the person the opportunity to participate in protecting his/her private or personal information. The design facilitates the proprietors´ (the data subjects´) active involvement in monitoring his/her private information through providing a recordkeeping tool. The eWallet aims at supporting automated handling of personal information and associated transactions. An experimental demonstration is implemented to store personal information on a distributed platform that facilitates easy integrated access.
