Abstract :
We take into consideration a low-complexity blind adaptive interference-rejection detector (BAID) scheme that minimizes the detrimental effect of the multiple access interference (MAI) on the bit-error rate (BER) performance of the data demodulator for direct-sequence/spread-spectrum (DS/SS) signals in CDMA radio networks. Specifically, we describe a few modifications to the original algorithm that make it more suitable to a practical implementation with QPSK-modulated DS/SS signals and asynchronous multiplexing, and we evaluate the performance of such extended detector in the case of coherent signal detection
