Abstract :
This fully-integrated 900MHz CMOS LNA uses monolithic spiral transformers that provide higher performance than monolithic inductors in a fully-differential LNA circuit. On-chip spiral transformers accomplish input and output tuning, and no off-chip components are needed. A bias current reuse technique reduces power dissipation. Process-, voltage-, and temperature-tracking biasing techniques are also used.
