Abstract :
Population migration algorithm is proposed in recent years, it´s a new search algorithm for global optimization that mainly simulates population transition mechanism, so far, and there was no unified framework to describe this algorithm. This paper describes the population migration algorithm based on a given framework of swarm intelligence, it helps to understand the principles of the population migration algorithm, as well as combination with chaos theory, a chaos population migration algorithm is proposed. Finally, a numerical experiment example indicates that the new algorithm is effective and accuracy.
