  • Abstract
    Three wall-less agar stenotic vessels of 80%, 50% and 30% area reduction were imaged using a three-dimensional power Doppler imaging system. Results confirmed the relative independence of power Doppler on the flow velocity, Doppler angle, flow pulsatility, and PRF setting. Stenotic vessels were quantified with average accuracy of 8.3%. The authors believe that three-dimensional (3D) power Doppler imaging can be used as an alternative to angiography to quantify the stenosis of accessible arteries
