Abstract
Methods for the reduction of harmful substances in the laser smoke produced during laser treatment in medicine are reported. It is concluded that the increase of the oxygen content in the laser tissue interaction zone leads to a significant reduction of harmful components in the laser smoke and to an increase of carbon dioxide emission
