  • Abstract
Most hospitals at one time or another have struggled with the problems associated with designing a functional, paediatric transport cart. More often than not an incubator and its associated equipment are piled on an adult stretcher in a hasty attempt to transport a critically ill patient. This type of situation could lead to unsafe conditions for both the patient and transport team. There is a definite need to have a platform designed to move both patient and equipment in a safe and reliable manner from point A to point B
