Abstract
The use of optical Fourier transformer (OFT) for crosstalk noise redistribution in DWDM systems is proposed. A single mode fibre is employed in the OFT device. The principle of operation using 1.6 ps Gaussian optical pulses is experimentally demonstrated, OFT function in presence of linear crosstalk is theoretically evaluated and experimentally validated.
