Abstract :
In microprocessor-based control, it is often important to develop control strategies using relatively low-order controllers in order to trade computational load for higher control rates. This paper gives new results for minimal-order observer-controller design computations for plants with both multiple-inputs and multipleoutputs. In a number of cases, lower-order digital controllers are obtained than with existing methods.
