Abstract :
A method based on descriptor variables is developed for calculation of a control satisfying preset initial and terminal boundary conditions that drives the state of a linear time-invariant system from a fixed initial vector to a fixed terminal vector. The proposed method is applied to the system´s minimum-energy open-loop optimal control problem
