  • Abstract
Presents a ventilator workstation capable of simultaneously recording real-time airway sensor signals as well-as many breath-by-breath lung function indices. The compact ventilator workstation is easily transportable and requires only a minimal amount of space and installation time. This is an important prerequisite for its use in clinical bedside investigations. The correct function of this sophisticated device has been demonstrated in 8 surgical patients in the operating theatre
