Abstract :
As one of global leading operators in fiber-to-the-x rollout, KT is preparing for access network evolution, mainly based on 10G-EPON technology. In this paper, we will explain technical issues in achieving seamless migration from 1G-EPON network, and how we are to resolve them, reusing most of existing infrastructure.
