Abstract :
The capability of optical technology to perform beamsteering over a large bandwidth without beamsquint is demonstrated on a 8 channels prototype operating in the 6-18 GHz frequency band. The angular coverage of 90° with 9 beam positions is realised by a 5 bits optical true time delay module covering delays from 6.4 ps to 178.4 ps.
