Consumption and demand for low voltage consumers business activity bar of Feira de Santana / Bahia

This article presents a research methodology to analyze the correlation between installed charge, monthly consumption and maximum demand of electricity in consumption units of COELBA. One goal is the recovery of non-technical energy losses by determining the typical load and demand factors of similar consumers. With the results, it is expected to improve relations between consumer utility and consumer of electricity. The development of the methodology has statistical fundament. For the dimensioning of survey samples, aspects such as geographical area, class and consumption ranges were considered, resulting in the determination of load and demand factors. The research results in estimates of consumption closer to reality when compared to values obtained by current estimates.
