Abstract :
An extensive series of microwave scatterometer measurements were made for a 30 day period during November 1990 from the German Nordsee tower. Probability density functions were computed from the raw baseband data and compared with a recently proposed pdf model. The model fits the measured data extremely well from L-band to Ka-band, and for both horizontal and vertical polarization. Model parameters for more than 1000 runs are being computed and will be correlated with in situ conditions
