            Abstract : 
The external electric field effect on the pyroresponse and nonstationary shortcircuit photocurrent (NSPC) of single phase polycrystalline Sn2P2S6 films was studied. It is established that the pyrocurrent direction remains the same in time and is independent of the applied field in the field from zero to ±2.5 kV/mm. Initially the direction of the total photoresponse coincides with the field direction and then changes as times goes on
