Abstract
The distribution power systems are often affected by the harmonics generated by single-phase electronic loads. This paper proposes an analytic model for estimating the single-phase harmonic currents of loads with bridge rectifiers based on diodes. Such a model requires low computational cost for being evaluated, and it allows investigating the harmonic of currents of loads fed by sinusoidal or non-sinusoidal voltage sources. Results of some computational simulations are presented and analyzed.
