Abstract
The socialization of the web has resulted in immense information resources that can be remixed by skilled users into new and novel web applications. While these resources are available, there are few who are able, or are even motivated, to create these applications. Continuing our past work, we use survey methods to explore the factors that motivate end-users to learn about and explore remix tools. Our initial results show that users´ may involve many social factors in their decision-making. We conclude with lessons learned and outline ongoing research.
