Abstract :
A novel Fizeau-type low-coherence interferometer for optical coherence tomography (OCT) is demonstrated. The multi-frequency sweeping by a Fabry-Perot filter (FPF) permits detection of high-order interference signals in the Fizeau interferometer. The sinusoidal phase modulation (SPM) technique was utilized to detect accurate interference amplitude and phase distributions.
