Abstract :
Cloud computing is a paradigm based on providing applications, platforms and data service over the network. Cloud computing is now very widely used for commercial as well as educational purposes. Scheduling plays a very key role in the efficient use of cloud resources. The most widely used scheduling implementation in cloud is first-come-first-serve. In this paper, focus is on a scheduling algorithm that gives better throughput, as well as viable communication costs in comparison to first-come-first-serve scheduling algorithm in a cloud computing environment. The scheduling algorithm has been implemented across clouds and seen to have better response times.
