Abstract :
This work presents a soft switching power amplifier, for audio applications, which uses PWM techniques. The principles of power switching amplifiers are described. The design procedure, simulation and experimental results for soft commutation are presented. The final goal of this study is to obtain a laboratory prototype of a switching power amplifier with soft commutation, which presents high efficiency and high audio fidelity
