Abstract
Efficient resizing about images should not only consider size constraints, but also regard the image´s content. It is the fact that the image´s content in the center is more attractive than content at the border necessarily, the image resizing algorithm in view of image content is becoming a new hotspot among the image resizing domain. Firstly, this algorithm treats the area of image that attracts the human eyes as more important content, but the region that does not attract the eyes as unimportant area. Secondly, to the greatest extent maintaining the important content but changing unimportant region in order to fit target displayer size. This algorithm is regarded as content-aware image retargeting. Among all the methods about content-aware image resizing, the seam carving method´s status is beyond all doubt, its advancement and innovation are better than other ways. This article analyses the traditional seam carving method and shows two innovations. One innovation is the identification of the more important area, another is improving algorithm based on seam carving to dynamic retargeting. In our experiments, it is easy to see that the new way enhances the effect and achieves better effect.
