Abstract :
The new optical scheme of RATAN-600 in a multibeam mode a compact effective array feed in 3-8 mm band is described. Two compact smooth-walled spline-profile horns as alternative to the corrugated horn has been optimized, manufactured and tested. The antenna measurement and theoretical results are in good agreement with simulation. The results of the trial observations at the RATAN-600 radio telescope with the suggested horn as a feed are given. The multi-beam receiving array for a radio telescope is calculated.
