  • Abstract
    A fiber-optic strain sensor based on the two-staged optical low coherence Mach-Zehnder interferometry was proposed using 1.3-μm wavelength optical ruler assisted stepper motor. A 2.78-nε high resolution strain sensing was demonstrated.
