            Abstract :
Partial interference cancellation (PIC) group decoding proposed by Guo and Xia is an attractive decoding alternative for multiple-input multiple- output (MIMO) wireless communications. It can well deal with the tradeoff among rate, diversity and decoding complexity of space-time block codes. In this paper, two design criteria of full diversity space-frequency codes (SFC) are proposed for MIMO- OFDM systems with the PIC group decoding. Based on the criteria, a systematic design of full-diversity SFC with the PIC group decoding is proposed that can achieve full diversity and a rate of 2Mt/(Mt +1) for Mt transmit antennas. Performance results demonstrate that the full diversity is offered by the newly proposed SFC with the PIC group decoding.
