Abstract :
This paper reveals that the Homomorphic filtering technique for contrast enhancement of wireless capsule endoscopy images. We investigate the DFT and DWT based Homomorphic filtering method employ on the contrast space to enhance the capsule endoscopy images. The experimental results show that this method can provide better results of the wireless capsule endoscopy images than the Perona-Malik diffusion (PM) method and the contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) so as to assist the inspection of WCE images.
