            Abstract : 
This paper presents a new optical code-division multiplexing (OCDM) technique which can support variable-bit-rate (VBR) data communications by employing strict optical orthogonal codes (OOCs). Using the proposed OOCs can result in lower system complexity and bandwidth expansion for VBR applications than use of conventional OOCs
