  • Abstract
    We review recent progress in all-optical OFDM transmission using a photonic-integrated optical discrete Fourier transform (DFT) device. We demonstrate that all-optical DFT can enable reduced-complexity OFDM transmission with reduced power consumption compared to all-electronic optical OFDM implementation.
