Visualization and Interactivity in the Teacher Decision Support System

The ability for teachers to support students in an online learning environment has proven to be very challenging due to the limitations caused by physical distance and asynchronous communication methods. To this end, an educational decision support system is proposed in the form of an interactive dashboard to empower teachers with the ability to access student learning process information along with system´s recommendations, in order for them to undertake well-informed educational decisions. This research focuses on a potential design and the tools available to construct such a dashboard.
