Abstract :
This paper describes the design and initial results of an L band dual polarized phased array antenna for the Argentine SARAT project. The dual polarized L band antenna consists on 24 short circuit annular slots in a 2×12 configuration. The antenna elements are fed using sequential rotation in order to improve the polarization purity and the port to port isolation of the whole antenna.
