Abstract :
This contribution is concerned with the synthesis of feedback stabilizing 2D compensators obtained by using the Gr??bner basis algorithm. A constructive procedure is given to obtain the coefficients of a stable closed loop characteristic polynomial. Since the operations involved are rational, the synthesis algorithm leads to polynomial matrices whose entries are polynomials with coefficients in the same field as the plant.
